美国国土安全部发布信息,要求持有美国10年签证的中国公民通过互联网定期进行个人信息更新。那么更新什么信息呢?即:持有中华人民共和国护照并同时持有十 年有效期 B1/B2、B1 或 B2 签证的旅客如不遵守 EVUS 规定,其旅行计划可能会被延迟。所谓EVUS,就是“签证更新电子系统”,英文全称是Electronic Visa Update System。每次EVUS登记都必须包含签证持有者的姓名、出生日期和护照及其他个人资料和工作信息。

这并非要求重新申请签证,也不影响签证有效期,有关签证持有人不需要前往美国驻外使领馆。中美达成的长期签证互惠安排继续有效。也就是说,每两年交点儿钱,更新一下自己的信息就好了!
